Sunday Setlist--Easter

Ahh yes, Easter. The Resurrection day. The day that Jesus conquered death, sealing our eternity with God in Heaven. He died for my sins past, present, and future. He suffered physically and spiritually for you and me. But it doesn't end there, for He arose victoriously over death so that we could as well. As the wonderful song by John Mark McMillan says;
On Friday a thief
On Sunday a King
Laid down in grief
But awoke with the keys
To hell on that day
Firstborn of the slain
The man Jesus Christ laid
Death in His grave..

Our set was based off of this week's sermon title, "What A Difference A Day Makes."

Today is the Day (D)
I Am Free (D)

Offertory--Christ Arose, performed by Mary Rodgers on Flute

The Old Rugged Cross (G)
I Have Been Redeemed (C)
Revelation Song (D)

As with most churches today, we had more in attendance than usual. Our prayer for those visitors is that they will find a church home and/or salvation in the One who can save.
